When the car sits for about an hour the brake pedal will have normal foot play of about a quarter or halfway to the floor, but once I press the pedal the normal foot play goes away an the pedal is firm to the foot with maybe very little or no foot play in the pedal. The brakes seem to drag a bit at first, but rolls within a moment with ease. When driving the car stops good. It has new shoes, slaves and master cylinder. I have adjusted the foot pedal to completely release, but it is not working correctly.

Thank,
Dean

You need to replace the flexible hoses, they are closed down and acting like a check valve.
