I have designed and fitted an uprated heater system that seem to work quite well at least so far in New England as the winter approaches.
The car now runs the way I want and cruises relaxedly at 70 mph and 2500RPM. It easily runs as fast as most cars do on the road today.
I actually prefer to drive it to my 1970 E-Type since it is more comfortable (important as you get older).
Given the low market value of these cars, it really only makes sense I think if the owner does his own work. If I had paid to have all the work done on my car I would have probably totally spent about $50K+ for what is really a nice driver with a 10ft paint job, but not concours.
