Myself and John Elmgreen are putting together a book providing the full and definitive history of each and every Alloy XK120 some approx 240 cars inc the 3 Lwt cars.
This book follows on from our previous books and is the same size ie height width and 24 special editions in Slipcases will be available trimmed in leather to match the original paint colour of an alloy XK120 as it was original supplied and these books will be number by body number.
The research for this has been ongoing since the 1970's and the comprehensive list in Jaguar World magazine back in the 1990's etc and we have over 10,000 photos to choose from many thousands being period photos.
The book possibly 1 or 2 volumes will run 500 odd pages or maybe more and will carefully examine the full history of each and every alloy car from start to current and yes there will be some interesting coverage as certainly more than one alloy car has been fabricated from nothing!
If you currently own an alloy XK120 or have ever owned one or know anything about one we would love to hear from you.
thanks terry
